A Simpler Way to Recycle Ring Carriers
For consumers, the process is straightforward: collect the ring carriers, keep them clean and dry, and bring them to a participating plastic film recycling drop-off location. Plastic Film Recycling’s map tool is designed to help consumers identify convenient drop-off sites for flexible plastic film materials near them.
This new acceptance is an important step for us because access matters. After working closely with the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) to validate our products and supply chain, our RingCycles™ Ring Carriers are now recognized within the Plastic Film Recycling stream. That recognition helps create a clearer path for consumers to recycle responsibly, keeping more materials in circulation and advancing the shared goal of a more circular packaging economy.
Hi-Cone also provides recycling guidance through our own resources at Hi-Cone.com/Sustainability, helping consumers understand how ring carriers can be returned to participating retail locations and placed in collection bins near store entrances or exits.
